My happy place, heaven on earth, the very reason I’m still in Florida. Florida Springs yet more specifically the springs in the Panhandle close to my home are all each dear to my heart. Growing up in these cool, clear waters I developed a deep and personal appreciation and connection for these fragile water sources. Not just for the beauty and uniqueness of each spring but the very fact they are our source for the water we drink. The very life blood of our species flows freely from these blue portals into the underground aquifer system and therefore need to be protected.
